Ambassador Al-Bayati’s achievements

Some of the most important achievements accomplished by the Iraqi PR, Dr. Hamid Al-Bayati include:

1-     Chairmanship of the General Assembly’s Third Committee during its Sixty First Session.
 
2-     Permanent membership to the ECOSOC, for the first time, with 181 votes. 

3-     Vice president of the General Assembly for its Sixty Second Session.
 
4-     Restoration of diplomatic relations with many countries including Mauritania and Georgia, due to efforts and bilateral meetings made by Dr. Al-Bayati.
